Someone put an authenticator on my account wtf should I do?

Would be my recommendation as well. Doesn't much matter what else gets done here, if they can come right back in. Finding the source is often the most daunting part of this process.

If an account has been merged to a Battle.net (not your own), or if an email has been changed, or an authenticator added (and it wasn't you that added it), one of your first stops is going to be Billing. They need to get those sorted out first so the rest of the processes can continue.

Now, it's very very important to figure out where the security breach occurred. If they CAN get back in, they WILL be back. That, unfortunately, you can count on.

These two stickies should prove helpful. I'd also recommend doing your scans with the launcher open and some junk entry in the account ID. We've seen some nasty keyloggers pop up lately that don't want to show on scanners unless the launcher is active.

I also highly recommend changing your email password once you are certain your system is secure. They don't need into a system once they can dip into an inbox.

You may also want to look into getting an authenticator for your account. It's no substitute for good security habits, but it will keep anyone else out of your WoW account. Not to mention core hounds make adorable pets!

Indeed, sadly this seldom is productive. Damages are usually done with 5 min or less of access.

And if you had had one yourself friend - this wouldn't be an issue at all because THEY couldn't get in, that is what they are for.

Billing is also open in roughly 6 hours, not 10 - they are also now open 7 days a week.

The authenticator is 6.50 for the keyfob - and if you have a supported device, some versions of the mobile one are free.

I can assure you we make no money on this, it has been developed and made available as a courtesy to help players protect themselves.

No one - not even you - can see that information. That is not something they have access to.

Small edit: At least not from OUR system, you have that information on your PC and they are into that - all bets are off, they can grab just about anything present that they want with malware.

Play wow for 4 years i have learned you cant win an arguement with somebody here because people who play wow will argue with you over anything. So that being said...I guess I will wait until tomorrow to get my account back ....And Have the ability to cancle MY account. I could care less if i get my gold back...I would like the ablity to CANCLE my account if i want. or Erase my Credit Card information on file deleted so a hacker can not take it
